Care Information

Hand or machine wash Ticktogs and machine or air dry. Hand wash and air dry straps to retain shape and stretch. Avoid a hot dryer for the straps which can lose elasticity over time. Do NOT dry clean, it removes permethrin. Sun exposure can damage permethrin.

Sizing / Fit

Ticktogs' fit should be roomy. They are designed to be loose and airy. Any extra fabric at the foot tucks into a shoe with no trouble. The ripstop nylon does not stretch. Woven socks are a rarity and people expect a snug knit, but stretch allows tiny ticks through.

Caution: Ticktogs cannot guarantee your safety. Ticks may penetrate a torn gaiter, bypass a poorly worn gaiter, or alight above your knee and bite. Treat other clothes with permethrin and bare skin with insect repellent.
