Know Your Ticks
Ticks feed in each stage of their life cycle - larva, nymph and adult. If you are bitten it is useful to keep the tick, attached to a piece of tape for a doctor to examine in case you get sick. The adults of each species look different from the other species, and adult males and females look different too. The smaller stages, larvae and nymphs, are tiny and are hard to tell apart, but they are present at specific times of year.
